Re: Dak's Place - 2019 Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall
It was cold last night...19F. Mo ran out long enough to ice a tree & ran right back to the door! Made it up to 45 today so he was content to stay out awhile. His squirrel friends made no appearance.

Re: Dak's Place - 2019 Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall
I got my dirt listed on the internet to sell it. I answered as many questions in my post that I could think of, included two maps and a pic, told where it is located with references to local landmarks. People are just stupid! Had a lady go look at it today and was off by 30 miles. My 'polite' typing is pretty challenged.

Re: Dak's Place - 2019 Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall
We were down to -5 wind chills the last two nights. Today is a bit better, as we have a high of 34. Goodness.
Good luck with your dirt, Deb!

LIS... freaking BRRR!
My hometown in MN is making the news. The high school football team is heading for state championship. One more game. I'm related to half the players.

Eeek! Too cold. Our foggy morning turned into an overcast afternoon, but the temps went from 42 to 53. Best Places just named Seattle the "gloomiest" of 50 large cities. I like to visit Renton and south Seattle because there's a better chance of seeing the sun up there than down here.

Finally warm again...high 40s today. Mo has decided that my comforter is more suited to his sleeping needs than his blankie. Once I put it on the bed, he forgo sleeping at my feet while I'm at the computer.

Re: Dak's Place - 2019 Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall
We had rain overnight; temps went from 42 to 56 today and there were a few sunbreaks. During one of them, FE went out the kitchen door to look for a rainbow, but it was over before the door closed--five seconds. I could see that there were fewer clouds to the north where the "gloomiest city" is.

Two nice sunny days in a row...mid 60s. I bought my weekly luxury yesterday...a Bartlett pear this time ($1.63/lb).

Re: Dak's Place - 2019 Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall
It was light showers yesterday; today was morning fog and afternoon rain under a solid gray sky. Gloomy, but better than the excitement of our traditional November wind storms.
